Reading aloud is a difficult skill which requires practice. . Before you read aloud, decide which are the key words you need to stress. . Mark any pauses with one or two slashes (/ for a short pause or // for a breath). Pauses help listeners to think about and understand what you're reading. . Make every sentence interesting for your audience. Change your pace - but don't go too fast. .
