Teachers generally explain too much and don't give enough examples. Try to use and elicit more examples to save having to give lengthy explanations to your classes. . So the wife calls 10 of his best friends and 5 of them confirm that he had stayed at their apartments that night and another 5 are claiming that he is still with them! B A middle-aged woman was taken to hospital in a coma after a car accident. While she was in the coma she came face to face with God. 'What happened?' she asked her maker. 'Did I die?' 'No, you didn't', answered God. 'According to my calculations, you're going to die in 43 years, 8 days and 16 hours - not before.' When she recovered from her coma, she was ecstatic. Knowing exactly how long she had to live, she went straight to a clinic for plastic surgery. She had everything done - liposuction, a new face, a new nose, new breasts, a new stomach, everything from top to bottom. A week later she came out of the clinic looking young and beautiful. The next day, looking gorgeous, she was walking along the street with every man in sight looking at her. While she was crossing the road, a fast car suddenly came round the corner, hit her and killed her. When she met God again, she was furious. 'But you told me I had another 43 years to live!', she told him angrily. 'Why did I die?' 'After spending all that money on plastic surgery and new clothes! It cost me a fortune! Why? And God came close to her, looked into her eyes and suddenly his face changed. 'I'm really sorry,' he said. 'But I really didn't recognise you!' 10 Think of a simple joke which you like and can tell easily in English.
