Orientations on IELTS and IELTS for UKVI sessions

We are partially resuming our face-to-face activities, carrying out IELTS tests with a reduced number of candidates per session.

At the moment, we have sessions with seats available in Curitiba, Manaus, Porto Alegre and São Paulo (only computer-delivered IELTS tests). For more details, check our test dates, fees and locations page.

We are working with our partners in other cities to announce new dates. Once the schedule is defined, it will be posted on our online registration portal.

To safely carry out IELTS exams, we have adopted a series of protocols, following the guidelines of local governments and the World Health Organization (WHO). Read more on our biosafety measures for IELTS.

Due to the need to adapt spaces for better compliance with these measures, some sessions may be held on a different venue from the one informed at the moment of your registration. Please also note that, due to the Covid-19 effects, sudden changes of date may still occur. For this reason, we ask that candidates stay tuned for communications that will be sent via email and contact us at in case of doubts.

It has not yet been possible to resume our face-to-face activities in some cities. Therefore, we inform that IELTS tests are temporarily suspended at:

Rio de Janeiro 22 October 2020
Brasília, Goiânia, Natal and Salvador 9 November 2020

For information about other cities, please contact your local test centre.

We are considering opening new sessions to accommodate affected test-takers. If you prefer, you can request a transfer for one of the sessions already available on our calendar or cancel your registration by contacting us at

Please be advised that there is a delay in processing the following services:

  • Posting of physical copies of the Test Report Form (TRF)
  • Additional copies of TRF
  • Enquiry on Results (EOR)
  • Cancellation and refunds

We appreciate your understanding.
