Methods, strategies and tools to generate, analyze and incorporate genomic data into livestock breeding programs

Under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council, CNPq and Confap will be holding a workshop on the above theme in Jaboticabal, Brazil on 3-7th June 2016.

The workshop is being coordinated by Professor John Hickey (The Roslin Institute, UK) and Professor Lucia Albuquerque (UNESP-Jaboticabal, Brazil), and will have contributions from other leading researchers Dr Andreas Kranis (The Roslin Institute, UK); Dr. Ross Houston (The Roslin Institute, UK); Dr Gregor Gorjanc (The Roslin Institute, UK); Dr Ricardo Ventura (USP-Pirassununga, Brazil); and Dr Roberto Carvalheiro (UNESP-Jaboticabal, Brazil).

We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and Sao Paulo state to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Researcher Links programme.
