Bridging Worlds is a research project based at the University of Leeds, in the United Kingdom, which explores how Brazilian culture influences dynamics in other countries.
Led by British investigator Stephanie Dennison, Professor of Brazilian Studies at the University of Leeds, the group includes local researchers as well as Brazilian collaborators, such as independent researcher Alex Potiguara and Gilberto Alexandre Sobrinho, Professor at UNICAMP.
During the UK/Brazil Season of Culture, the project is dedicated to carrying out a series of activities that not only highlight the richness and diversity of Brazilian culture but also shed light on its importance for interdisciplinary dialogue, and the development of innovative, decolonial frameworks in contemporary research.
The events include international academic conferences, as well as artistic and cultural activities open to the public.
