Women in Science: UK-Brazil Gender Equality Partnerships Grant

The British Council will launch the Women in Science: UK-Brazil Gender Equality Partnerships Call.

The objective of this call is to influence the development of institutional policies and practices which will enable progress towards achieving gender equality in science, technology, higher education and research institutions in Brazil.

The call aims at building capacities within Brazilian institutions through partnerships with British institutions recipients of Athena Swan Charter awards, a framework that is used across the globe to support and transform gender equality within higher education (HE) and research. The call will fund five British institutions and each of them will work with two Brazilian institutions who will benefit from the UK’s expertise in gender equality.
