The British Council believes that the care, protection and welfare of children are paramount and that all children have the right to be protected from harm.
This includes our commitment to effective child protection systems, their well-being and ensuring children are safely collected from our exam premises.
If you do not complete and present the forms below on the test day, your child will not be able to take the test.
Please choose below the correct child safe collection consent form according to the test type - IELTS regular or IELTS for UKVI. It provides the British Council with information about who will be collecting the child after the test or provides confirmation that the child is permitted to leave exam premises unaccompanied. Read carefully the documents and sign them prior to your child’s test day.
The British Council is committed to providing a safe environment for all employees, examiners and candidates. In view of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have adopted a biosafety protocol that determines the collection of some personal information in relation to any pre-existing health conditions or symptoms. For test-takers under the age of 18, the declaration must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian and presented on the day of the exam.
We recommend that you keep a copy of this form for your records.
