The publication School Leadership: the internationalisation agenda presents an overview of Brazilian and international actions to reveal the importance of school management and leadership for students’ quality of learning, according to experts in the area and research results.

The document also explores internationalisation and international to build successful educational models.

Some studies reveal that the school headteacher is the second main factor behind the academic success of his students, shortly after the teachers. At the same time, the performance of teachers and their permanence in school depends directly on the headteacher's ability to develop a work environment that promotes the learning of all students.

The United Kingdom invests heavily in the training of leaders through the development of school management standards, certification exams and a continuing development program for teachers that encourages cooperative work.

Based on the analysis of dialogues and discussions raised in two workshops with Brazilian partners, in 2019, as well as interviews with experts and an in-depth study of scientific articles on the subject, the publication School Leadership: the internationalisation agenda presents proposals for cooperation methodologies to develop an internationalisation agenda for school management and leadership, that can support schools professionals in Brazil.
